FLAMES EXHIBITION 🔥

Flames Exhibition is a recent project designed to honor the tragic events that have affected the Coptic Orthodox Christian community in Egypt, particularly after the removal of the Muslim Brotherhood. This exhibition commemorates the violence and suffering endured by the community, focusing on the bombing of churches that resulted in the destruction of 101 sacred places of worship.

This exhibition goes beyond the historical facts—it's an emotional exploration of loss, fear, and resilience. While you may have heard about the bombings in the media, this experience invites visitors to feel, even if briefly, the terror and heartbreak of those who lived through these events. The exhibition captures the haunting feeling of being unwelcome in your own country, the fear of returning to the place you’ve always known, or witnessing that place reduced to ashes.

Flames is not just about remembering the violence, but about acknowledging the enduring spirit of a community that continues to persevere despite unimaginable loss.
